PAMPANGA, Philippines — In search of vitality and Swiss hospitality, Swissotel Clark opens its 10th restaurant which will serve authentic Italian dishes using contemporary and modern culinary techniques.
Inspired by the province of Verona in Italy, known for being the setting of the classic romantic novel “Romeo and Juliet”, Restaurant in Verona will welcome guests and customers on July 7.
Located on the fifth floor of the Swissôtel Clark, Ristorante di Verona offers its guests a new concept of indoor and alternative outdoor dining, overlooking the mountainous and natural view of the Zambales mountain ranges.

Ristorante di Verona offers over 300 extensive selections of wines from various regions, including a 1958 Pio Cesare Barolo from Italy and a 1990 Château Mouton Rothschild 1er Cru Classé of France.

Ristorante di Verona houses a 25-year-old balsamic vinegar from Modena used mainly as an ingredient for reductions, following all the rules of a century-old tradition.
To round off the decadent Italian meal, Ristorante di Verona offers Digestivo selections, including Italian Herbal Liqueur, a perfect after-meal digestive, and over 10 types of Grappas, a zero-waste winemaking process.
Header Ristorante di Verona is internationally acclaimed chef Alessio Loddo, originally from Sardinia, Italy. Beginning his experience in independent restaurants in Italy, he ventured into international areas in the 2000s in Dubai and opened several Italian restaurants in 5-star hotels around the world, including BiCE Ristorante at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, Le Meridian Phuket Beach Resort and La Gritta restaurant in Bangkok.
He was also in charge of several Italian restaurants located here in the Philippines including Tosca Italian Restaurant at Dusit Thani Hotel Manila, Waterfront Cebu City, Crimson Hotel Filinvest City Alabang and Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay before joining Swissôtel Clark.
With 27 years of service, he has continuously incorporated Italian heritage into the kitchen, inspired by his roots in Sardinia. The place is known worldwide for its clear, pristine beaches and local Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, including cheese and wine selections.
Chef Alessio has been with Swissôtel Clark since 2021, long before its pre-opening.
Swissôtel Clark, the newest destination in North Metro Manila, opened its doors on March 1, offering 372 rooms and suites and a total of 10 restaurants to choose from.
On the ground floor of Casino Hann are Nasi, Kai, and Spice, offering culinary specialties in Filipino, Korean, and Asian variations. Discover the new casino-inspired nightlife destination in Clark, Bar 20, renowned for its theme nights and mixology-focused drink menu.
Within the Swissôtel Clark, you can discover a selection of restaurants located in the surrounding area. First on the list is iconic European all-day restaurant MARKT, embracing Swiss heritage with an homage to Europe’s atmospheric markets through its plaza-style open-plan dining concept.
Facing the MARKT is the laid-back atmosphere of the Atrium, where guests can enjoy their choice of vitality-infused beverages or a cup of coffee in a tropical-inspired lounge. The Atrium is home to over 40 handcrafted gin and tonic collections, making it one of the largest gin and tonic selections in the country.
Oma’s Dessert Bar, located just off the Atrium, will surely satisfy patrons’ need for a sweet fix. Swiss Tropic, located on the fifth floor of the Swissôtel Clark, offers excellent food selections and full views of the magnificent Zambales mountain ranges.
